Alex Watts is an indie pop musician, songwriter and producer whose work encompasses soul, jazz and pop music.

Based in Melbourne, Australia, Watts released his first album ‘Another Step in the Dark’ in 2016, featuring the track Reunited, which has amassed over 48,000 streams and received regular airplay on triple j and was supported by a national tour. The self produced record was lauded for it’s mixture of vintage soul, ‘50s style rock’n’roll and orchestral arrangements.

His second album, ‘after this i’m going normal’, was released in 2022 and was a musical departure, featuring a mostly electronic backing drawing from Watts’ love of house, disco as well as ambient textures.
